Dennis DeMille, a former chief warrant officer and member of the Marine Corps Rifle Team, had to overcome nearly 600 other shooters to win the NRA National High Power Rifle Championship. Second place was held by finisher and defending 2004 champion Norman Houle and the third place held by eleven-time champion David Tubb.

Doug Koenig notches his ninth victory at the National Rifle Association's (NRA) Bianchi Cup National Action Pistol Championship held in late May 2005. He won the championship title in 1990, and although 2005 year marks his sixth consecutive victory, no shooter has won nine, much less six in a row.

Bianchi Cup '98
Article Abstract:
Doug Koenig achieved his third NRA Bianchi Cup National Action Shooting Championship in 1998. Several veteran shooters and a handful of new participants put up a good challenge to Koenig. The 29-year-old winner hails from Alburtis, PA.
