Indians make up a small portion of the minority population of the US. However, a study found that 40% of the start-up, high-technology companies are run by Indian entrepreneurs. Some of them are Paresh Shah of the Fortes Group, Rahul Prakash of Telecom Ventures and Babi Das of NDC Group.

Pass the milk bones - this happy hour caters to canines

The Holiday Inn Select in Old Town, Alexandria, VA, runs a happy hour for dogs twice a week from Apr until the end of Oct. This event attracts up to 75 dogs and around 200 people.
