Laos - land of amillion elephants

Article Abstract:

Personal experiences on a 17-day tour of Laos, called the Small Group Discovery Tour by Carpe Diem Travel, are presented. Famous tourist destinations in Laos include the Plain of Jars, which features ancient vessels of different sizes, and the Pha That Luang, which is among the largest Buddhist temples in the world. The role of elephants in the lives of Lao people is also discussed.
