Article Abstract:

Journalist Michele Weldon has written a book called "I Closed My Eyes" about her abusive husband. Weldon found the book difficult to write because reliving the relationship with her former husband was painful. Her life leading up to the marriage is described, as is the actual relationship. The former husband refused to be interviewed.
