Is administrative-license revocation effective?
Article Abstract:
Studies show that administrative-license revocation (ALR) laws have effectively reduced alcohol-related car accidents and fatalities. ALR refers to either the revocation or suspension of a driver's license prior to conviction for an alcohol-related offense. Results of various studies indicate a 5% to 14% reduction in alcohol-related crashes among the various states that adopted ALR regulations.

The Walther gun factory was closed after the war as Germany was forbidden to manufacture guns. It received a contract in 1957 to supply guns to German army and continued production of the P.38. An avid gun collector compares war and post war differences and traces the Walther P.38 gun's design since reintroduction in 1957.

An ice cream vendor is the object of a third-grader's hero worship. The vendor, Good Humor Man, saves the young girl from her brothers and neighbors who beat her in the line. Her salvation comes in the form of an ice cream bar, a treat from the vendor.
