An overview is presented of what travelers can see and do in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). The city is full of Buddhist temples, including Thien Hau, and shopping areas range from the very new department store, Diamond Plaza, to the Ben Thanh Market which features hundreds of stalls selling local products.

Sharks are biting back: humans pay the price for invading their territory
Article Abstract:
The International Shark Attack File (ISAF) recorded a worldwide increase in shark-related accidents from 21 in 1975 to 72 in 1995. A marine biologist attributed the increase to the intensified water-based sports while a biologist blames it to lack of safety precautions.
