H&K's evolutionary G36 rifle
Article Abstract:
Heckler and Koch's G36 rifle was adopted by the German Army and is appropriate for use by the American military and police agencies. Its lightweight, affordable and conventional design is suspected to have been based on the Armalite AR-18, which has a superior operating system.

Harris Talon switch-barrel
Article Abstract:
The Harris Talon Sporter rifle is unique among the switch-barrel rifles since its incorporates many of the improvements made by Remington on the receiver, such as the three-position safety, the non-rotating claw extractor and the Remington 700-style recoil lug.
