Oxford is best known as the home of the University of Mississippi, and as the home of novelist William Faulkner from age 33 through his death in 1962. His house, now a University museum, and other Oxford visitor attractions are described, with addresses and contact numbers provided.

Extreme Mont Blanc
Article Abstract:
A personal account is presented of climbing the Alpine mountain of Mont Blanc, which is the highest peak of Western Europe at 15,771 feet. It was at this location that mountaineering was born as a sport, when two local climbers tackled the peak in 1786.
