Passengers aboard the US Airways Flight 623 survived a nearly tragic crash on Aug 7, 1998 when the plane shuddered and deviated away from its course. Preliminary investigations revealed that the plane nearly came in contact with a larger aircraft, causing massive turbulence between the two vehicles.
