Springfield M1A rifle

Article Abstract:

The Springfield, Inc., Loaded Standard M1A, the best known of the commercial semiautomatic, represents 30 years of continuous production for the most popular semi-automatic only version of the U.S. M14 service rifle. After three decades of production, the M1A has reached a classic status and it is perhaps the best-ever rendition of the last of an honored breed, the wood and steel U.S. service rifle.

Civil War RemingtonEs

Article Abstract:

Fordyce Beals, a Remington employee, patented the Remington revolvers that were purchased by the U.S. Navy and Army during Civil War. The Remington 'old model' of 1861 and Remington 'new model' of 1863 are two of the three revolvers that are briefly discussed, which played an important role during Civil War.

"Ahead of its time": The U.S. military Remington-Lee

Article Abstract:

Remington-Lee was America's first military bolt-action with a detachable box magazine and was a design ahead of its time. The detachable box magazine invented by James Paris Lee is part of virtually every military rifle that include rapid reloading and ease of operation.
