Robert K. Corbin, National Rifle Association (NRA) president, reiterates his organization's commitment to protect the Second Ammendment, the right to bear arms. Although there are many proponents who have indicated their desire to impose limitations on this right, the NRA believes that unified NRA action can defeat them.

The 1992 National Congressional elections present a mixed-bag for gun owners and activists. A number of pro-gun ownership candidates were elected, but so was Bill Clinton who could lead the fight against gun owners.
