Henry Darger, a janitor left behind an astonishing collection of drawings, collages, and watercolors that are considered one of the foremost bodies of outsider art in the world and Kiyoko and Nathan Lerner are caretakers of this astonishing collection. In 2005, Darger is the most bankable of outsider artists, with his works bringing up to 150,000.

Jenny DeVivo left

A former high-school religion teacher named Jenny DeVivo moved into a convent in Ravenswood in August 2002 intent on becoming a nun, but soon encountered doubts. DeVivo looks back on her time as a postulant and her difficulty in adjusting to the ritualized activities of the convent.
