"Tuition-free" police training

Article Abstract:

In 1998, Ron Kirkland, the director of the Law Enforcement Activities Division of the National Rifle Association of America (NRA), introduced a program dedicated to serving the needs of police officers. The program provides tuition-free live-fire training, and factory armorer schools for law enforcement firearms instructors.
