Article Abstract:

The leaders in the U.S. Senate plan to engage in a battle to determine whether the American firearm industry will remain viable or will be bankrupted through endless predatory lawsuits that the enemies of Freedom predict will be a 'death of a thousand cuts'. The protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act-S. 397 will be passed with no 'gun control' amendments called assault weapons designed to snuff out the long-needed legislative reform.

The National Rifle Association (NRA) of America's success in protecting the individual rights to keep and bear arms is discussed. The NRA tells that freedom will depend fully on the financial and active support of the individual members and without this support the firearm owners would have to submit to new confiscation rule of the government.

The suits filed by the trial lawyers hired by urban political machines against all facets of the lawful firearm industry are detailed. They claimed that firearms made and sold in the totally federally licensed chain of commerce were intentionally marketed to criminals, even though it is a crime.
