Article Abstract:

The 100 companies profiled in the fourteenth annual survey of companies best suited for working mothers typically understand the strength of flexibility, listen to their employees, and communicate well. The companies were rated on leave policies for new parents, flexibility, child care, work environment, advancing women, and pay. Charts comparing these corporations and information on how to use the charts is included. Walter V. Shipley, of the Chase Manhattan Corporation, is honored for making family friendliness the rule at his corporation.
