A field guide to pain relievers

Over-the-counter pain relievers are comprised of aspirin, acetaminophen or ibuprofen and when used as directed work the same and are safe. Supplemental ingredients, such as caffeine, antihistamines and stomach relievers, are the differences among the products.

A new, less painful hysterectomy technique

Article Abstract:

Laparoscopically assisted vaginal hysterectomy (LAVH) is a new technique used to remove the uterus. It is less painful and less risky than traditional hysterectomies, leaves a smaller scar and requires a shorter stay in the hospital.
