Article Abstract:
The Association of District Councils conference, which took place in March 1996, whose theme was 'Broadening the Horizons of Tourism and Leisure', discussed new commercial developments, new methodology and new technology in the context of promoting leisure and tourism and offering services to the public. Contributors to the programme included Warren Newman, the chief executive of BACTA, Northcliffe Newspapers Group, which showed the benefits of the Mosaic system, the MARI Group, which ran an Internet and Multimedia Cafe, and British Telecom's Don Tricker, manager of business development.

The Vectan family of powders

NobelSport has launched its 16 new Vectan propellant product line at the 1998 SHOT Show. Also exhibited were copies of the NobelSport Handloading Manual written by Rene Malfatti. The book provides details of the Vectan propellant families, which can be identified by their shapes.

The Women's Health Center in Duluth, MN, successfully united the city's pro-choice public to buy a new building since the center's lease, expiring on Jan 1, 1994, will not be renewed. The center has been the target of intensive anti-abortion campaigns.
