A high-tech weapon against ovarian cancer

Researchers hope that transvaginal ultrasound will be more useful in the detection of ovarian cancer than abdominal ultrasound because of the added clarity the technique provides. In transvaginal ultrasound, the device for projecting sound waves is placed inside the vagina rather than on the abdomen.

Video technology helps fight cancer
