A new women's epidemic

The Centers for Disease Control reports that women now account for 12% of all AIDS cases. However, there as yet have been no major studies on this progression. It is expected, that by the turn of the century, 80% of the HIV/AIDS cases will result from heterosexual transmission.

Engineered foods
Article Abstract:
Bioengineered foods should be available in grocery stores by the summer of 1993. The Food and Drug Administration and former VP Dan Quayle's Council on Competitiveness agreed such foods could be marketed without pretesting, registration or special labeling.
