All in the family: for the Katzes, swimming is more than just exercise, it's tradition

Article Abstract:

The Katz family of New York City, NY have always been swimmers, even when the pools of the city were not too inviting. The third generation of the family has already been immersed in the favorite family sport. Some of the family have become competitive swimmers. Their ages range from 73 to 5.

Playing hardball

Article Abstract:

The US Women's Softball Team filed a complaint with the United States Olympic Committee just before the 1996 Olympics because the Amateur Softball Assoc (ASA) tried to prevent players from using non-licensed equipment. The team also had disputes with ASA over travel and payment arrangements.
