The biology of a pig-out

Article Abstract:

Women sometimes feel the compulsion to eat a large meal with their friends when they dine out. The tendency to overeat is found to be more common when the group is sharing several dishes. Afterwards, some people recover their normal appetites a few hours after the meal since calories have already been used by the body.
