Making good with a bad reference

Article Abstract:

Responses to two questions, namely, how to deal with a bad reference from a former employer and handling renovation contracts are presented. These include negotiating a decent reference with employers and specifying work descriptions and contractors' responsibilities in contracts.

Job-sharing means having to share the responsibility for a single job with a colleague. Although it cuts working hours, job sharing has disadvantages. Issues to consider when making a job-sharing decision are discussed.
