Assessing computer upgrades
Article Abstract:
Business owners must consider their firm's needs and be aware of software compatibility before purchasing upgrades. Factors to consider before upgrading include hard drive and random access memory requirements of new software and learning curves of users. While new software developments promise businesses faster programs and more features, business owners should consider compatibility issues with clients and suppliers before buying. Managers should also wait for revised versions of the software they want to purchase to be developed to avoid any bugs which may be present in alpha versions.
