Article Abstract:
A baby's skin must be kept clean and dry. Tub baths must be avoided until the stump of the umbilical cord falls off. A mild soap and baby shampoo must be used. Entire body baths must only be done twice or thrice weekly to avoid drying the skin. Care and treatment of common skin problems are presented.
