Baby's first birthday

Article Abstract:

A baby's first birthday party must be made very memorable and enjoyable for the celebrant. The party must be done at the right time and place that is comfortable for the child. Also, the party must suit the child's personality and provide activities and foods for children, not just for grown-ups.

Reading baby's signals

Article Abstract:

A mother has to understand and interpret her baby's various expressions and signs to properly meet her baby's needs. An infant has not yet acquired any verbal communication skills, therefore, the mother needs to recognize the different cues given by her baby and respond appropriately.

When baby goes to the hospital

Article Abstract:

It is important that parents remain calm, provide adequate information to the medical staff and be supportive to their baby when their child is hospitalized. Bringing along toys, books and observing the usual routines at home will prove to be helpful.
