Birth control after the baby

Post-partum mothers can use contraceptives within a few weeks after they give birth. Some doctors advise breast-feeding mothers to delay use of contraceptives such as cervical caps or progestin pills for six weeks, while combination pills can only be used after six months.

Muscle soreness is often caused by what many people feel is the easy part of motion, such as hiking downhill or lowering a weight after lifting it. Muscles must be intentionally strengthened to handle such movements.
