Bon appetit, baby: how to make sure those first spoonfuls of solid foods are just right

Babies usually begin eating solid foods between the ages of four and six months, as this is when their system is ready for such foods. Ways in which to determine a child's readiness for food, and the ages at which to introduce certain foods are described.
