Amy E. Tracy's son Daniel was born premature at twenty-eight weeks instead of the normal forty weeks, but with lots of specialized care he survived. Medical advances mean such babies have a better chance of life, especially when combined with their parents' attention.

After a tough first pregnancy...

A woman who has had a miscarriage, experienced the death of a baby or other pregnancy-related trauma is often hesitant to become pregnant again. Grieving and being educated about what led to the trauma are recommended. Ways to allay fears are also described.

Time out for mom

Mothers often find it difficult to find time for themselves which may not be good for them or the family. Ways in which they can rearrange their schedules including letting dad look after the children and create time for themselves are presented.
