Breastfeed & lose weight

Article Abstract:

A lot of mothers complain of weight increase during pregnancy and failure to lose it even after delivery and breast feeding. Weight loss during lactation may be achieved by eating a diet with less fat and dairy products but plenty of vegetables, fruits and cereals.

Infants must be fed small amounts of milk or formula at frequent intervals to accommodate their digestive systems. Burping, gas and spitting up are common. Parents should not become overly worried about the appearance of their babies' stools.
