Broadcast stations considering adding towers to existing antennas must consider the potential for interference in other transmission systems. Adding other users to a tower almost always creates "mixing," or unwanted radio frequency systems. Multi-user tower sites often experience mixed frequencies. The best way to avoid frequency interference is to filter the signals.
