The growing number and diversity of medical innovations have boosted the medical industry's need for bioethicists. The role of bioethicists, some of whom are either professors, doctors, lawyers or members of the clergy, is to help health practitioners make ethical and moral decisions about problematic medical situations brought on by some of the advances in the field.
