Who was...Paget?
Article Abstract:
James Paget was an innovative surgeon who was responsible for identifying trichomonas infection in humans. Paget's disease, or osteitis deformans, is a softening and thickening of the bone caused by a generalised disorder. He is also linked with other disorders such as necrosis of the bone and carcinoma of the breast. Paget, born in 1814, was President of the Royal College of Surgeons and was also highly respected as a lecturer. Paget was made a baronet by the Queen in 1877 and died in 1899.

Smokers can quit smoking by joining a cessation program. Programs should be chosen based on time constraints, costs and their ability to address the psychosocial and physical aspects of smoking.
