Sandra Blakeslee recalled in her book "The Body has a Mind of Its Own" how diet and exercise can fail if people still have a self-image of being fat. The phenomenon called "phantom fat" describes people who still see themselves as fat even after losing weight, which can be managed through various methods. Experiences and works on this topic are given.

Carb-o-licious!

There is a misconception that all forms of carbohydrates have negative impacts on health. However, unrefined carbohydrates, such as whole grain pastas, cereals and breads, do not cause blood sugar to rise, which is what refined carbohydtraes such as rice and corn, do. The difference between refined and unrefined carbohydrates are examined further.
