Thanks for the memories
Article Abstract:
National Organization for Women's Action Vice President, who is about to step down from her post because of term limits, shares what she considers the most important events of her seven-year tenure. She remembers the courage, vitality and optimism of women all over the world who in spite of their fear have made the stand to fight for their rights. One such example is Nawal El Saadawi of Egypt who decided to write and speak about the horror of her own female genital mutilation.
