'Women in Adventure' was the theme of the Banff Festival of Mountain Films held in Nov 1994, in Canada. Films documenting the alpine ascents of Alison Hargreaves and Christine Janin were shown, and a panel discussion provoked new interest in filming women mountain climbers.

Breast cancer survivors raised $1.3 million dollars for breast cancer research by participating in the Expedition Inspiration climb of 23,085 foot Mt. Aconcagua in the Andes. A day by day account from the group leader's diary is presented.
