Conservatives pick the pockets of most vulnerable in U.S.

Article Abstract:

Republicans in Congress are expected to move forward with a number of anti-reproductive rights measure such as the Unborn Victims of Violence Act, setting out criminal penalties for persons who kill a fetus during a physical assault on women. Activist are encouraged to let their women of Congress know that women need an adequately funded, guaranteed prescription drug benefit under the Medicare program.

Will FDA ignore danger of silicone breast implants?

Article Abstract:

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) had withdrawn silicone breast implants from general use in 1992 after receiving complaints of illness from thousands of women. A final decision regarding the withdrawal is expected in October 2004 but the number of women undergoing surgeries has more than doubled in the past five years.
