Ebola in Epsom, Lassa in Luton?
Article Abstract:
Global warming and massive global migrations are causing diseases that were once confined to the tropics to appear in temperate zones, raising fears of the emergence of a massive killing epidemic. Tropical and subtropical mosquitos carrying such diseases as malaria, elephantiasis, dengue, yellow fever and Japanese encephalitis will appear when global warning has made London, England, subtropical and given Rome, Italy, an equatorial climate. The threats of microbial and parasitic pathogens should be addressed now since the emergence of a tropical killer in temperate zones cannot be ruled out.

Defrocking the artist
Article Abstract:
The influence on society that artists had at the beginning of the 20th century has been lost throughout the years. Works of art, even when innovative, do not attract attention unless they shock with obscenity, and even still lose their luster quickly. Art as a religion has been replaced by common sense.
