Court decision, drug duo impact abortion rights
Article Abstract:
Anti-abortion terrorism may see an end with a possible favorable decision in NOW's anti-racketeering case against anti-abortion terrorists and with the advent of an effective combination of two drugs used in abortion. The drugs used in the treatment of cancers and ulcers are easily available and doctors may dispense them despite threat of malpractice suits. While the National Organization for Women is all cheers for the new drug that allows a woman to decide to abort privately, Operation Rescue is against it and is organizing movements against the drugs.

Clinton: our option, not our answer
Article Abstract:
Leaders of the National Organization for Women claim that their decision to endorse Pres Clinton instead of Bob Dole for the 1996 presidential elections was a choice between two lesser evils. Although the president was responsible for the enactment of many women's civil rights laws during his first term, many feminists still doubt his sincerity towards their cause. Among Clinton's decisions that have caught the ire of women's rights activists are his signing into law the welfare repeal bill and intention to approve a bill outlawing same-sex marriage.
