Facing change and making it work for you

Article Abstract:

People may choose to resist, become passive or become proactive when faced with change. The process of change revolves around change itself, a problem and a solution. Individuals can manage change more effectively if they know who imposes it. The boss or management, the system, the customer and the self are all capable of imposing change. Although people cannot control change, they can change the way they look at it.

Making connections

Article Abstract:

Business owners wanting to establish connections in their American Business Women's Assn. chapter may start a networking group. Members of the networking group meet for about two hours monthly and help each other with advertising, marketing and management challenges. These monthly sessions may be held over lunch or dinner. During meetings, each member talks about her job for three to five minutes.
