Article Abstract:

The National Organization for Women's Political Action Committee aims to seize every opportunity to support candidates who stand up for women's rights. The inability to progressive senators to put together a strong coalition to block Samuel Alito's confirmation to the US Supreme Court has made people aware that they need to elect more senators with the backbone to stand up for their rights.

Feminists renew commitment to political change in 2002

Article Abstract:

Over one hundred women attended the Political Institute Conference held by the National Organization for Women to prepare for the 2002 elections. 34 delegates attended all the training sessions offered. Women need to mobilize to support more feminist politicians and to drive conservatives out of Congress and state governments.
