This article discusses the three day June 2000 National NOW Conference which was held in Miami Beach, Florida. The purpose of the women and feminist conference organized by the National Organization for Women was to educate, energize and empower women and addressed such issues as war crimes, politics, reproductive health and immigration.

The three-day 1997 National Organization for Women Foundation Young Feminist Summit was held at the White House, Washington DC, on Apr 11-13. Hundreds of young women, including young men, attended the event, which was themed 'New Voices, New Visions: Young Women Taking Action for the 21st Century.' Workshops of the summit discussed topics on affirmative actin, reproductive rights to Title IX, media portrayal of women and skill-building.
