First national display of the Clothesline Project a huge success

Women's rights activists hailed the recent Clothesline Project as a huge success for the feminist movement. The project, which was part of the Rally for Women's Lives, involved the display of message-bearing t-shirts on clotheslines. The shirts, which were created by participants attending the Young Feminist Summit Against Violence, contains messages that urge the public to stop all forms of violence against women.

Low-impact camping

Environmentally sound camping requires that as little of the natural world be disturbed as possible. Backpackers should remain on trails, avoid trampling plants, take out their garbage, build fires in established fire rings and bury their body wastes.

Camping in Fundy National Park
