Children who are overweight suffer both physically and emotionally, with strain on their hearts and circulatory systems, and teasing from their peers. Parents are discovering that it is better to combat the weight problem not by enforcing dieting, but rather by encouraging exercise.

It is observed that today's, generation consider wearing braces as a fashion statement. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that all children get an orthodontic screening by the age of 7 and they concluded that the sooner they get it done the better it is.

Issues relating to the care of children of working mothers is presented. An evaluation is made of a report that children who are looked after by external care givers will experience behavioral problems, displaying higher than average levels of aggression and defiance.
