New standards of physical fitness are emerging. Eleven women aged 18 to 57 years, with occupations ranging from modeling, figure skating, fashion directing, in-line skating, public relations, nursing, ballet, marathon running and graphic design, illustrate these new standards.

Article Abstract:

Women may experience premature hair loss due to genetic and other hormonal factors, which are mediated by the hormone dihydrotestosterone. A drug is being developed that will counteract the production of this hormone, while women may also opt for hair implantation.
