Fitting in fitness

Article Abstract:

Working mothers surveyed share their views on exercising. They consider the health benefits of exercise including increased stamina, metabolism, longevity and muscle tone, as more effective goals than simply losing weight. How and when these working mothers work out are also included.

Food allergy alert

Article Abstract:

Food allergy in children occurs primarily because of the immature immune sytems. Children who are allergic to certain foods such as eggs, peanuts milk, wheat and tree nuts show allergic symptoms, such as hives, troubled breathing and even loss of consciousness.

Menstruation causes problems for many women from discomfort to risks of suffering from ovarian cancer and other hormonal disorders. Research into the effects of continuing on the contraceptive pill and missing periods completely is underway.
