Doctors from all over the globe share their own tried-and-tested home remedies for a host of illnesses. While a Trinidadian physician recommends devil's claw for arthritis and rheumatism, a Canadian doctor swears by the therapeutic effect of her spicy watery soup against colds. Home remedies for constipation, insomnia and indigestion, among others, are also discussed.

Allergies in children are caused by different substances from pollen to dust to food. These allergies can be prevented through specific precautionary measures including proper hygiene, elimination of tobacco smoke, breastfeeding, and the removal of the causes of allergies such as pets, molds and airborne substances.
