Five recipes for frozen snacks ideal for consumption during the hot summer months are presented. All the recipes low in fat and average around 100 calories. The five recipes are Honeydew Ice, Frozen Chocolate Kahlua Mousse, Unbearably Light Frozen Lemon Pudding, Frozen Peach Melba and Virgin Colada.

Franks are a better alternative to hotdogs because they are leaner, lower in fat and usually meatless. The new breed of hotdog usually contain beef and/or pork combined with milk, soy protein, sweeteners and seasonings and sodium nitrite that produces carcinogens when heated.

Frozen pancakes and waffles are excellent breakfast meals since they are nutritious and low in fat. A scoop of nonfat yogurt, a glass of skim milk or low-fat sausage are also nutritious due to their high protein content.
