The use of soy as a food in the US, is relatively new even though the use of soyfoods is at least 5,000 years old. The benefits of soyfoods include its lower saturated fat content. Research continues on soy as a cancer fighter. Soy foods include miso, milk, protein, flour, sauce and tempeh.
