Article Abstract:

Some people develop the top and front of the shoulders, but neglect to develop the back section, thereby causing a muscular imbalance and possible injury. The rotation fly exercise can help correct this imbalance by developing the rear shoulders and the rotator cuff muscles.

Women can tone and strengthen their shoulder muscles by doing lateral raises. This exercise isolates the lateral deltoids on the tops of the shoulders. Proper form is crucial when doing this exercise.
