The tramway in Strasbourg

Article Abstract:

The city government of Strasbourg, France, decided to build a new tramway in Nov 1994 to solve the worsening traffic and other related problems such as the increase in time wasted in traffic jams, pollution and its negative impact on people's health. Despite the high cost of building the tramway, which amounted to 1,940 milliard francs, the government and the locals were happy with the changes it brought for it made the city more attractive and more pleasant to live in.
